Write Your Own Script
Very often we think we know what we want but when pressed for details we start to um and ah.
To get the best out of using imagination to bring things into reality I think we need to get down to
the nitty-gritty so that we are true to ourselves and not settling for second best. Be bold.
What natural settings make you feel calm and peaceful?
Which might you feel you could use in your visualisation?
Is there anyone who makes you feel relaxed that you would like to take on this journey?
Where are you?
How are you feeling?
What is happening around you?
What can you see?
What can you hear?
What can you smell?
Can you feel anything touching your skin?
Are you feeling warm or cold?
If you had no fear, what would you ideally be doing in this situation?
How does it feel to be in this situation?
After you’ve done this, close your eyes and start to run through the situation and try to conjure up some of the good feelings. Write down what you imagined straight away before you forget what you saw and what you felt.
Once you get clear on things start to create visuals in your head and make any adjustments. Re-run the scene as often as you can – at least once a day.
I always love getting your thoughts and comments, so keep them coming
